Hike Kitlist

If you’re planning on going out for a day hike we recommend some kit you may want with you. Remember to tailor this for the time of year, size of hike and conditions!

What you wear can be the difference between a good hike and a miserable day out! Layering is important, starting with a comfortable ‘base layer’ like a t-shirt, then a thin fleece or jumper, followed by a waterproof outer to protect you from the elements.

  • Sweater (woollen or fleece ideal)
